Sodexo is seeking a Facilities / Engineering Manager 2 for Hobart & William Colleges. This position is ideal for someone who is beginning the career in management of facilities. Day-to-day management of the maintenance operations of the account. Oversight communication workflow management; Building trades and mechanical trades – electrical, plumbing, carpentry, HVAC (Hard FM) – Scope of responsibility is technical and more management of systems; possible management of 1 up to 3 reporting to this position.

 

Mechanically competent
People skills – communication/mgmt.

Preventive and corrective maintenance; predictive maintenance.
Possible management about 1 to 3 employees

 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Coordination with trainers and technicians for facilities software programs
  • Performing Building assessments
  • Managing systems i.e., CMMS- Maximo, AMF
  • KPI Data management
  • Reliability and quality assurance review of facilities assets
  • Performance Monitoring 
  • Support Sodexo safety policies and practices

We are also looking for a candidate who can:

  • Prioritizes work orders (e.g. importance, location, etc.) for the purpose of ensuring equipment is repaired in an efficient and effective manner
  • Required to know the site and conduct safety walks and quality checks on completed work. Being present, engaged, and showing leadership by walking around and observing daily work is paramount.

Additional responsibilities include:

  • Responsible for generating and reviewing Q&M KPI reports from CMMS (Maximo)
  • Responsible for maintenance work planning and daily monitoring of established CMMS (Maximo) dashboards on work order activity, overdue work orders and work orders approaching due date.
  • Responsible for performing QA inspection on completed work orders
  • Responsible for maintaining the Asset Management Bulletin Board and associated Documents.
