Civil Engineer- Sioux Falls, SD area
Aerotek is seeking a Civil 3D designer for a large well known company with a great culture. This designer will specifically be working on the land development team.
Any level of experience welcome, but must have knowledge of Civil 3D.
The land development team will focus on:
- CAD Technician support for Design team
- Operate AutoCAD software and apply Civil 3D functions to create electronic sewer maps, including plans, details, site and grading plans and cross-sections for the alteration of utilities or structures.
- Update and maintain electronic files, create detailed plans using base maps, survey field files and other electronic data; prepare detailed construction drawings;
- Make on-site visits to check base map accuracy; resolve discrepancies and missing data; collect and analyze field data; self-perform Q/A or perform peer review of design drawings including standard notes and specifications.
- Serve public & private clients in land development, transportation, and municipal projects.
- AutoCAD and Civil 3D knowledge is required.
