Position: Test Engineer (direct hire)
Location: Nassau County, NY
Objective:
Work with technicians performing testing and repair work on all current test equipment. Troubleshooting to the board level for repairs. Some design of new test equipment and redesign of existing equipment. Support production to ensure there are no issues or slow down in testing.
Overview:
- Build and maintain test equipment and cables
- Follow electrical blue prints/schematics
- Test/ Troubleshoot test equipment
- Order material
- Build tools within set deadlines
- Fix & build tools
Position Requirements:
-Must have Testing/Trouble shooting experience with electrical components/ testing equipment
-Must have a Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering/related
-Experience using ORCAD a plus*
-Experience designing Test Fixtures is a plus*
