Immediate Job Opening- Salisbury, NC

12-Hour Night Shift (2x2x3 Schedule)

Manufactures various chemicals - one side of the plant is consumer products and the other is industrial products. On the consumer side, they manufacture laundry detergents and additives (Persil, All, Purex). On the industrial side, they manufacture adhesive products (Loctite, Bondrite, Technomelt). These formulations are used specifically in electronics (Iphone, PC Boards, etc.) that facilitate electrical interconnect, provide structural integrity, offer critical protection, and transfer heat for reliable performance.

  • Adjust, disassemble, and repair mechanical equipment such as mixers, motors, variable drives, pumps, and gearboxes. Install parts following schematics or operation manual.
  • Examine shafts, belts, and other moving parts for wear, misalignment or defects. (ultra sound & laser a plus).
  • Perform scheduled preventative maintenance tasks and demand maintenance as required.
  • Repair hydraulic components of machines and equipment.
  • Follow blueprints, sketches, job requests, code books, or operation manuals.
  • Test operating equipment to verify proper function.
  • Troubleshoot equipment and verify root cause by observation, measurement, and operational tests.
  • Assemble and install equipment according to blueprints or manuals.
  • Experience in pipefitting, welding and fabrication.
  • Plumbing installation and repair.
  • Write work permits and follow systems as defined.
  • Work in compliance with all Safety, Health, and Environmental rules, procedures and regulations.
  • Work in electrically rated areas
