Position Information:
The Trauma Coordinator, RN is responsible for the clinical activities of the Trauma Program and ensures the efficiency of the program by coordinating the clinical aspects of the trauma program, facilitating an interdisciplinary approach to trauma care, and participating in the collection and monitoring of data for performance improvement.  The position leads performance improvement efforts through concurrent patient review and project management. The Trauma Coordinator maintains the knowledge and skills necessary to assure proficiency in the care of trauma patients by completing the Trauma Nurse Core Course and/or Advanced Trauma Care for Nurses within one year of hire.

Experience Requirements:
5 Years Nursing - Related Area Required - And 3 Years Clinical - Emergency Department/Trauma Required - Or Clinical - Critical Care (ICU/CCU) Required

Education Required:
Bachelor's Degree Nursing Required - And Master's Degree Nursing Preferred

Licensure/Certification Requirements:
Registered Nurse Required - And Basic Life Support Required - And Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support Required - Within 1 Year of Hire

Hours of Work:
Mon-Fri (8-5)

Weekend Requirements:
No Weekends
