Facilities Custodian - Full-time / Part-time

Starting Wage: $16.50

Position Summary:

The facilities custodian will be tasked with performing all maintenance duties, including dusting, mopping, finishing and buffing floors, vacuuming and shampooing carpet/rugs, cleaning and restocking restrooms.

Primary Job Duties: 
     •	Maintain cleaning schedule between all assigned stores.
     •	Clean restrooms, offices, hallways and performs janitorial services as required to meet the needs of the 
        business.
     •	Empties trash receptacles, disposes trash into compactors and/or dumpsters, and bags trash for proper 
        disposal.
     •	Reports needs and concerns to appropriate staff, which may include submitting or recommending work orders 
        and checking supply levels.
     •	Detect and reports defective materials or questionable conditions.
     •	Ensures proper care in the use and maintenance of equipment and supplies; promotes continuous 
        improvement of workplace safety and environmental practices.
     •	Performs cleaning functions specific to the assigned facilities and/or based on seasonal/project requirements.
     •	Keep the Custodian Room clean and organized. 
     •	Follow and adhere to prescribed safety regulations.
     •	Performs other duties as assigned. 

The minimum requirements for this position include:
     •	Education/Training: High School degree or GED equivalent
     •	A commitment to service excellence 
     •	Ability and willingness to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends and holidays to meet the needs of 
        the business.
     •	Perform duties across multiple stores of varying size and location.  Applicants must be able to work at multiple 
        locations on a weekly basis depending on the needs of the stores.

The minimum physical requirements for this position include:
     •	Considerable physical activity. Requires heavy physical work; heavy lifting, pushing, or pulling required of 
        objects up to 50 pounds. Physical work is a primary part (more than 70%) of job.
     •	Work environment involves some exposure to hazards or physical risks, which require following basic safety 
        precautions.
     •	Work may involve moderate exposure to unusual elements, such as extreme temperatures, dirt, dust, fumes, 
        smoke, unpleasant odors, and/or loud noises.
