Field Services Technician

Location: near Holbrook, NY

Hours: Monday – Friday, 9am – 5pm. Must be flexible to work other hours as needed

MUST be willing to Travel throughout Nassau County/Queens

Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

- Provide excellent onsite and remote service to company clients

- Will provide support services as well as new deployment and implementation projects
- Help Desk ticket resolution and Customer Service
- New client onboarding
- New end-user equipment deployments

- Troubleshoot and Deploy Networking equipment (routers, firewalls, switches, cabling, etc.)
- Troubleshooting end-user issues onsite
- Microsoft Office 365 support
- VoIP support and migrations
- Ability to handle small wiring needs (terminations, basic cabling skills)

REQUIREMENTS:

- Willingness to travel onsite to clients throughout Long Island (Brooklyn, Queens, Nassau, and Suffolk) on a regular basis, job is approximately 70% Field Services
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in IT Managed Services
- Currently holds baseline Microsoft MTA / MCSA: Windows 10 and/or CompTIA IT Fundamentals / A+ / Network+ certifications (or requirement to obtain within 90 days of hire)
- Commitment to continuing education for Microsoft MCSA: Office 365 / MCSA: Windows Server 2012/2016 and/or CompTIA Security+ / Server+ / Cloud+ (if not already obtained)
- Experience with RMM tools such as Kaseya, Continuum, or similar
- Experience with ConnectWise or similar ticketing system
- Microsoft Windows Workstation & Server versions operating systems installation, configuration, and troubleshooting proficiency
- Router / Switching / Wireless installation, configuration, and troubleshooting
- Infrastructure knowledge with ability to repair, run, and terminate end-to-end network cabling
- Availability to provide excellent customer service during standard business hours, Monday through Friday with some flexibility as needed to accommodate onsite scheduling
- Participation in department on-call rotation for off-hours coverage (nights & weekends)
- Willing to travel for large projects
