General warehouse w/TWIC– Claymont Delaware
Our client is Claymont Delaware is seeking an experienced general laborer Claymont Delaware. This person must have OSHA training and a TWIC card or have an active TWIC application. Please read the job description in its entirety before applying.
- General cleaning and maintenance duties in a marine, dry bulk facility
- Comply with all good manufacturing, safety, and quality assurance practices
- Learn to operate various machines efficiently, as requested, as able.
- Assist with general cleaning and housekeeping throughout the plant
- Help other positions/departments as needed
- Must be able to lift, carry, push and stack 10-60 pounds
- Other duties as assigned by supervisor
- Attention to detail and good organizational skills
- Demonstrate an understanding of the products manufactured and processes involved
- willingness to communicate effectively in order to maintain high levels of safety, quality and efficiency
- Read and comprehend standard operating procedures
- Understand daily production needs
- Mechanical ability a plus
- Must be able to perform physical tasks for extended periods of time including: standing, walking, climbing, bending, pushing, pulling and twisting over surfaces
- Must be able to work a flexible work schedule
- Willing and able to adhere to all safety standards and wear all necessary personal protective equipment
- OSHA training preferred
- TWIC card required or under application
- Must be able to climb ladders and equipment
