The Sales Assistant partners with the Event Sales Manager to emotionally connect with our
guests to create a memorable experience. He/she must exceed the guest experience by aspiring to go above and beyond in providing exceptional service that will compel our guests to want to comment.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Sales Manager with any problems and solving complaints to ensure guest satisfaction that will
compel them to want to return.
• Adhere to our alcohol awareness procedures.
• Communicate allergy sensitivity from guests to managers to Culinary.
• Knowledge of our competition.
• Submit all required reports in a timely fashion.
• Communicate event sales information to subordinates, co-workers, management and guests.
• Flexibility in schedule to accommodate and to be present at event functions when necessary.
• Perform additional duties as required.


PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
• Frequent walking, kneeling, bending, reaching, and climbing stairs.
• Must be able to lift, move and carry up to 30 pounds frequently.
• Able to work in a variety of climates, both indoors and outdoors.
• Able to remain standing and active for a 6-8 hour shift.
• Able to pass required safety courses.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
• Able to fluently communicate (speak, read, and write) in English.
• High school degree or high school equivalency required.
• College degree preferred.
• One to two years previous sales experience, preferably in the hospitality industry.
• Problem solving and analytical skills to interpret sales performance and market trend
information.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite & event software.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
