REPORTS TO: Kitchen Manager CLASSIFICATION: Nonexempt POSITION SUMMARY The cook position is very important to the success of Mary's Pizza shack. The pastas and sauces are the original recipes of Mary Fazio, and her years of love and experience have gone into making only the highest quality of food for millions of families. Although cooks usually work the kitchen by themselves, team work between all the restaurant positions is necessary. By communicating to wait people, salad people, etc. we can all make sure the customer receives the attention and quali¬ty of food they deserve. CORE EXPECTATIONS • Ability to follow all recipes as outlined in recipe book • Strong communication skills • Ability to maintain Mary’s Scorecard Standards • Ensures food is out 15 minutes after order or after salads/appetizers • Ability to coordinate with other food orders (i.e. pizza, appetizers) • Follows all sanitation, cleanliness and organizational procedures • Ensures measuring tools are used • Adhere to Mary’s Dress Code procedures • Demonstrates Mary’s Upbeat Personality Philosophy

Inside only. 2. Both night and day shifts. 3. Hot ovens and stove. 4. Generally, working alone. PHYSICAL DEMANDS While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to do the following: 1. Constant standing during operations. 2. Occasional lifting of soup and sauce containers, weighing approx. 16-30 lbs., on and off stove (height of stove approx. 38 in.) 3. Occasional carrying of soup and sauce containers from walk in to stove approx. 16 - 30 lbs. and approx. 30-50 feet in distance. 4. Frequent reaching, approx. 18 - 74 in. vertically, in front of body to maneuver while cooking. 5. Constant grabbing of pots and pans while cooking, use of whole hand.
