About this job

We are looking for a detail-oriented and quality-driven individual to fill our Parts Specialist position. Some experience/vehicle knowledge is preferred. This position is full-time and provides competitive pay, health insurance, dental, 401(k) and paid time off. A basic list of duties and requirements are below: 

POSITION SUMMARY: Promote sales of parts and accessories to internal, retail, and wholesale customers while maintaining customer satisfaction. 

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
•	Excellent oral and written communication skills
•	A valid driver’s license with an insurable driving record
•	Ability to read, speak and write English in order to fulfill job functions in an understandable way
•	Ability to operate a computer and telephone system

• ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

•	Provide excellent customer service in accordance with company standards, policies, and procedures
•	Have a working knowledge of vehicle parts and diagnostics for problem solving
•	Speak clearly on the telephone and convey an image of professionalism and competence to callers
•	Handle telephone orders efficiently, including preparation of necessary paperwork thoroughly and accurately
•	Ability to retrieve, load and deliver items of various sizes and weights (up to 100 lbs.) in operable and undamaged condition
•	Maintain a working knowledge of CDK Drive system and electronic Parts Catalog
•	Ability to identify, comprehend, and act on changing customer requirements
•	Sell parts at a profit; including preparing counter sales ticket thoroughly and accurately and pulling parts from stock as necessary
•	Perform extensive numerical calculations with a high degree of accuracy
•	Handle payment for parts, operate cash register and credit card reader
•	Fill parts orders as needed
•	Assist other teammates as needed with tasks such as: receiving parts in shipping area, stocking parts, keeping inventory updated
•	Assist with special orders, including completing necessary paperwork and notifying customer as to status of order
•	Maintain good housekeeping habits within counter/customer area and warehouse area
•	Participate in annual inventory count
