Catering Specialist

Abuelo's Catering is currently looking for dependable, service oriented individuals to join our Team. The Abuelo’s Catering Team is an elite group of dynamic individuals who take pride in providing excellent service for full service catering events and deliveries. Our Team services the entire DFW area but we start each day at our Irving catering hub location. We have weekday and weekend openings available.

REQUIREMENTS:
- Service First Mindset
- Strong Organizational Skills
- Reliable Transportation
- Valid US Drivers License
- Valid Vehicle Insurance Coverage Policy
- Eligible to Work In The US
- Ability to Work Set and Variable Schedules
- Ability to Read and Interpret Maps 
- Ability to Verbalize and Clearly Respond to Guests in English
- Ability to operate POS system, count money,  make change, and accurately and ethically conduct credit card transactions and account for all monies at the end of each shift

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Ability to lift and carry 50lbs repetitively throughout the day while making deliveries and servicing events. 
- Able to deliver plates, food & clear tables which may require lifting as much as 50lbs.
- Ability to stand and walk 100% of shift
- Ability to sit for approx. 25% of shift
- Reaches, bends, stoops, lifts, carry and wipes frequently
- Ability To Read & Speak English

WORK ENVIRONMENT:
Work environments vary by catering job location but could include: office building, warehouse and outdoor settings. While performing the duties of this job Team Members are regularly exposed to sharp objects, dry and humid conditions. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
