About this job

The Dishwasher/Prep Cook ensures a proper supply of clean dishware, utensils, and any necessary items for the dining room and cleans all cooking utensils, pots, and pans for the culinary department.  S/he will also help with food preparation as needed by the culinary department.

The ideal candidate for this position has a high school diploma or GED (preferred) and at least one year of previous experience is preferred. Fluent English speaking and writing skills, good time management skills, and professional dress, speech, and behavior are all required for this position.

Requirements

-Ensures a proper supply of clean dishware, utensils, and glassware to stock the dining areas and set tables
-Ensures a proper supply of clean pots, pans, and cooking/serving utensils are available for kitchen staff
-Cleans work areas and all equipment used in food preparation
-Follows safety and sanitation rules and practices
-Compete tasks and duties as requested by a supervisor or team lead
