 Commercial Class B Driver - Customer Service Representative - Full-time - Various shifts between 6:45am-8pm (M-F)

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Position will serve as driver for mobile mammography bus. COMMERCIAL CLASS B LICENSE REQUIRED.
• Flexibility to drive mobile mammography bus to various locations through San Diego and Riverside Counties as needed. This includes destinations such as Julian and Borrego.

When not driving, you will be trained to use the phones as a patient scheduler and/or the front desk at our clinic. Preferred qualifications for those roles include:

• Prefer 2 years experience in a Front/Back Medical Office (ex. Medical Assistant, Patient Care Coordinator, Medical Procedure scheduling) and/or Radiology Experience a Plus!
• Prefer 2 years experience in scheduling patients for medical procedures handling call center type traffic.
• Understanding of HMO/PPO/Commercial Insurance, Authorizations, Eligibility, with Medical Experience HIGHLY Preferred.
• Flexibility to work at any of our three clinic locations: Escondido, Poway, Carlsbad.
• This position REQUIRES you to have OPEN availability including: Days, Evenings, Weekday and Weekend shifts, as needed.
• Bilingual Preferred: Fluent in English and Spanish.
• Looking for a Class B Driver with a Positive attitude and exceptional customer service skills. MUST be friendly and pleasant while working.

Required duties may include: Serve as backup to primary mobile mammography bus driver. This role will require driving to various location in San Diego and Riverside counties. San Diego County includes the Julian and Borrego areas. Our clinic locations are in Escondido, Poway and Carlsbad, so time spent when not driving will be in those locations. Those duties when not driving include checking in patients in a polite manner, entering patient data accurately, verifying photo ID for all exams, answering multiple phone lines promptly, insurance authorizations & eligibility, scanning documents, scheduling patients for radiology procedures (MRI, PET/CT, CT, Mammo, Ultrasound, Biopsys, IR procedures, etc) and other tasks as assigned. Working knowledge of radiology exams, scheduling protocols and insurance approval is desired. MUST be confident using computers and knowledge of EMR is desired.

Responsible worker with the ability to work proactively in a fast paced environment with little to no supervision and who knows when to appropriately alert supervisor with urgent matters. Works as a team player in a high volume environment.to provide clerical support in day to day operations. Maintains a variety of records and files. Accurately responds to requests and inquiries from employees, patients and physicians.
