Federal Account Executive

As a Federal Account Executive, you are responsible for calling inbound federal government and contractor leads generated by our in-house marketing department. These prospective clients are tasked with yearly training requirements that need to be fulfilled and have been budgeted for. You will be closely working with students using discovery questions to uncover their individual and group training needs.

You will drive the sales process via phone and webinar, manage your sales pipeline, and be able to accurately forecast upcoming bookings. As you develop customer relationships, you will build your book of business through repeat sales, referral generation, and expanding single seat requests into group sessions. As a sales professional, we will closely work with you by providing specific sales training pertaining to the government funding processes as well as a path for professional development and growth within the company.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 2-3 years of successful sales experience
  • Passionate about sales and customer experience
  • Persistent and competitive
  • Self-motivated and driven with great time management skills
  • Quick study with the ability to learn new things, think on your feet, and problem-solve
  • Coachable and open to feedback so we can help you succeed
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Confident using Microsoft Office programs
  • Familiar with a CRM system (SalesForce, SalesLoft, LeanData, etc.) 
  • IT or cybersecurity training experience a plus 
  • Federal government sales experience a plus
  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree
