Direct Support Professional - Community Living

Candidate will perform assigned duties that include the provision of our individuals' care, assisting our individuals with their hygiene and their activities of daily living in a residential setting, delivery of individual programming, recreational activities, community inclusion, promoting independence, advocacy and growth. Candidate must be attentive with accurate data collection and all other forms of documentation. Residential hours consist of working evenings, weekends and holidays. Active staff meeting participation, housekeeping, cooking and any other duties as requested by your direct supervisor. The candidate should be medication certified and able to drive our agency vehicles. Patience, excellent communication skills, flexibility, creativity, being self-motivated, able to give and receive constructive direction, critical thinking skills, dependability, reliability with good attendance and a positive attitude and the willingness to be part of a team with the ability to get along with others is a must.
