Job Description
General Summary: We are looking for a recent college graduate who has an understanding of lean concepts, manufacturing scheduling, and is an excel wizard to join our scheduling team. Essential Job Functions:
Utilizing MRP system, generate work orders and issue material to shop in a manner that establishes a drumbeat for all programs.
Develop detailed production status reports for key programs for internal staff as well as external customers.
Develop priority lists and maintain recovery schedules for programs that are late or at-risk.
Communicate daily with Program Manager, Purchasing, Production and Shipping and Receiving.
Review rejection tags and adjust reports and schedules accordingly.
Maintain MRP system data integrity, specific to work order due dates, engineering masters and part maintenance.
Create and update reports, capacity charts, and multi-level inch plans.
Qualifications: Education and Experience -
4-year college degree in business or operations management, preferred
Must have eye for detail, strong analytical skills, and ability to communicate effectively
Must have a good understanding of lean concepts and be an Excel wizard, required
