Emergency Restoration Crew Chief Wanted

We are looking to add an experienced CREW CHIEF to our rapidly growing Long Island based damage restoration company. We are looking for an experienced field crew chief. The qualified candidate will have industry experience, be capable of managing work crews on job sites. IICRC certifications are a plus.

Job Summary:
Supervise crew in restoring damage. Monitor job's progress including required daily measurements and adjustments. Upload all required information into smart phone. Communicate with Administrative Manager to coordinate actions and ensure compliance with Insurance requirements.

  • Crew chief is the lead technician on a job, leading a team of labor to complete all restoration activity. Supervise multiple crew members.
  • Job-site management, customer contact, keep job diary in on-line software applications:
  • Supervise Production Techs
  • Coach and train production techs
  • Communicate expectations to techs
  • Communicate with Production Manager
  • Communicate with Office staff
  • Ensure all team members follow company guidelines
  • Leave job site with a clean and orderly appearance
  • Manage production expenses at job site including hours expended, supplies and tools
  • Perform preventative maintenance on production equipment, report all non-operational equipment to Operations Manager.
  • Keep control of all company assets including equipment and tools.
  • Keep vehicles in an orderly manner, ensure they are organized, field and ready for deployment.

Qualifications:

  • MUST be experienced in RESTORATION work.
  • Must be comfortable working with people under stress, excellent communicator, Provide comfort and confidence to homeowners and the rest of the crew.
  • Candidate must be able to pass background checks and have a clean Driver's license.
  • IICRC Certifications in AMRT, ASD, Water and Fire preferred.
  • Experienced and Comfortable working in customer's home.
  • Comfort with computers and web based applications including social media apps.
  • Good interpersonal skills and good personal presentation.
  • Detail oriented.
