Installer Technician - Full-time / Part-time

Job Description – Installer Technician

POFGE/Green Energy Solutions a California state licensed contractor working to reduce the usage of energy for customers is currently seeking entry level or experienced installation technicians to install and deliver evaporative coolers, window a/c units, pool pumps and refrigerators. The ideal candidate would be professional, self-disciplined, have pride in workmanship, positive attitude, enjoys working outside and in a team setting, and has the desire to learn new skills.

Job Responsibilities & Skills - Responsibilities included but are not limited to the following:

·      Perform complete installs of energy efficient residential appliances approved by program

·      Load and unload appliances/equipment for scheduled installs and inventory

·      Communicate and educate customer regarding the measures and warranty procedures

·      Complete all required documentation thoroughly

·      Conduct pre-installation feasability inspection of residents for qualification

·      Maintain confidentiality pertaining to customer information, adhere to and enforce program policies and procedures

·      Maintaining a clean and safe work environment

·      Ability to take direction from lead installer tech

·      Ability to handle physical workload

·      Ability to prioritize and multitask

·      Ability to work well on a team

·      Professional customer service and appearance

·      Ability to drive company vehicles

·      Communicate effectively

·      Must know how to use hand tools and small power tools efficiently and safely

·      Complies with company policies, practices and procedures and communicates all changes to managers and team members.

·      Perform other duties as assigned

Job Requirements

Minimum 5 years driver’s license to meet insurance requirements (History of suspension and/or DUI not accepted)

Must be able to pass a drug screen and physical prior to employment.

Must be able to pass a background check / Live Scan Fingerprints required

Must be available Monday-Friday and some Saturdays

Experience is not required but a plus, will provide training to qualified candidates.

Construction, Installation Technician experience desirable

Physical Requirements Include

Ability to lift, pull and/or push up to 80 lbs. safely

Ability to stand, climb, stoop, balance, crouch, crawl and/or kneel continuously

Ability to push, pull, grip continuously

Strong ability to work (i.e. outdoor/indoor) under extreme temperatures (i.e. hot/cold/rain) conditions
