FTNI is seeking Inside Sales Representatives to join our fast-growing team!

A leader in integrated receivables technology and solutions, FTNI helps industry-leading companies streamline and automate their accounts receivables (A/R) and payment processing operations on a single, cloud-based platform that accepts, processes and posts any payment method from any payment channel.

The Inside Sales Representative (ISR) at FTNI will focus nearly exclusively on lead generation and client acquisition. This entry-level position involves cold calling/emailing new prospective clients, client business referrals, or web leads. The ISR will develop valuable relationships and educate prospective clients to the broad spectrum of FTNI’s ETran Integrated Receivables solutions. FTNI ISRs work closely with prospective clients to identify solutions for their unique receivables processing needs and consult through the initial sales qualification process. Must be energetic, well-spoken, and eager to create highly-qualified leads that will result in closed sales and increased revenue.

Inside Sales Duties and Responsibilities

  • Cold calling; making multiple outbound calls to potential clients
  • Understanding client needs and offering tailored solutions and support
  • Researching potential leads from business directories, web searches, or digital resources
  • Qualifying leads from digital campaigns, conferences, references, tradeshows, etc.
  • Creating and maintaining a database of prospective clients
  • Presenting and delivering information to potential clients
  • Answering potential client questions and follow-up call questions
  • Working closely with Solution Sales Executives to initially qualify new prospective clients
  • Tracking weekly, monthly, and quarterly performance and sales metrics
  • Maintaining database (via HubSpot) of prospective client information

Inside Sales Requirements and Qualifications

  • Comfortable making cold calls/emails and communicating effectively with business executives
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; the ability to call, connect and provide valuable interactions with potential clients
  • Persuasive and goal-oriented
  • Possesses an energetic, outgoing, and genuine demeanor in written and verbal communications
  • Eager to expand company with new sales, clients, and territories/industries
  • Self-motivated and self-directed
  • Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently
  • In-depth understanding of company services and its position in the industry
  • High school degree or equivalent
  • Tenacity to handle rejection and continue on with a positive attitude when reaching next potential client
  • Knowledge of sales process from initiation to close
  • Ability to work independently or as an active member of a team
  • Previous inside sales experience, or related sales experience preferred (but not required)
  • Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel) and CRM (Salesforce, HubSpot, etc.) experience a plus
