Job Description
JOB DESCRIPTION:
A Material Handler is responsible for receiving, picking, shipping and inventory control.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
ž Responsible for handling and checking and storing of all incoming shipments.
ž Ensure all stocks in the warehouse are organized, labeled, and properly stored on the correct racks, shelves or bins location.
ž Support the materials handling process for production related materials
ž Process orders picking, packing, and shipping based on material handling form/or instructions.
ž Develop, maintain, revise, and review documentation for all materials related activities.
ž Weighs pallets and scrap when applicable.
ž Shrink wrap finished products and setup floor warehouse pickup.
ž Examines finished pallets before pickup and distributes materials
ž Maintain daily receiving and shipping log.
ž For inventory discrepancies, find the cause and recommend proper adjustments.
ž Properly maintain warehouse equipment such as forklift, pallet movers etc.
ž Safely operate all material handling equipment including forklifts and pallet movers.
ž Keep a clean and safe working environment and optimize space utilization.
ž Follow Company policies and Employee Handbook.
