Job Description

Diablo Smog is currently looking for a Diagnostic and Smog Repair Technician to join our team! A Diagnostic and Smog Repair Tech must be a self-driven, hardworking individual. The ideal candidate will have proficiency in the ability to work efficiently and effectively, to ensure the performance of the department as a whole. The individual will report directly to the owner.

  • Reviews instructions to determine details of test to be performed.
  • Calibrates, cleans and maintains test equipment and recording devices.

Qualifications and Skills

  • ASE Smog Certification.
  • Prior automotive repair experience preferred.
  • Must have your own tools.
  • Proficiency in the use of common technician shop tools.
  • A team player who is focused on providing exemplary customer service.
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced work environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $20.00 to $25.00 /hour

Experience:

  • Automotive Diagnostic and Smog Technician: 2 years (Required)

Currently looking for a Smog Technician to join our team! A Diagnostic Tech must be a self-driven, hardworking individual. The ideal candidate will have in the ability to work efficiently and effectively, to ensure the performance of the service department as a whole. The individual will report directly to the owner.
Some Responsibilities and Duties Include:
* Greeting customers in a friendly, timely manner.
* Operate registers and collect payment.
* Conduct and evaluates smog tests on vehicles to check exhaust emissions
* Reviews instructions to determine details of test to be performed.
* Calibrates, cleans and maintains test equipment and recording devices.
Qualifications and Skills
* current ASE Smog Certification is a MUST!
* Prior automotive repair experience preferred.
* Must have your own tools.
* Proficiency in the use of common technician shop tools.
* A team player who is focused on providing exemplary customer service.
* Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced work environment.
Starting at $20.00per hour

Hours of Operation:
Monday - Friday
8:00am-6:00pm
Weekends
Saturday 8:00am-4:00pm
Sunday 8:00am-4:00pm
