We are hiring for another Network Support Technician (NST) in our Managed IT Department. With future advancement opportunities of IT Specialist, System's Admin, Network Engineer, and Technology Consultant.

 

GENERAL PURPOSE OF THE JOB:

NST are critical members of our team working to solve real customer pain points. This isn’t your normal position where you may be relegated to one small piece over the company’s technology, or a project that doesn’t matter. Instead, you will be instrumental and have the chance to work in many if not all areas of our clients’ systems

Active role in tier II support issues and client projects. Overflow assist for tier I support as needed. Training and opportunities to assist with tier III level support and projects.

KEY EXPECTATIONS:

This position is for someone who is fluent in Microsoft domain networks, Server 2003, 2008, 2016, and server migrations; multi-site VPN connections, high availability servers and networks, redundant voice PBX, Exchange & O365 deployments, SQL server management, has excellent customer service skills and has a broad in-depth understanding of technology and business impact.

Deep understanding of how technology is used as a strategic advantage to business operational goals and interconnected across an organization. Maintain extensive knowledge and experience with all technology, tools and operations in force with our clients.

NST will Build, Setup, Support and Maintain technologies such as:

 

· Network equipment, switches, access points, routers, user workstations, laptops, desktops, thin clients, etc.

· User software application, general apps, ERP software, etc.

· VMWare and Citrix environments

· Active Directory + LDAP integration systems

· Dell Servers and Storage systems

· Sonicwall firewalls, Barracuda firewalls & Email Security appliances and software

· Storagecraft & Veeam backup software

· Single Exchange deployments to Exchange DAG and O365

· Cisco SMB and catalyst switches

· Cisco ASA firewalls

· Cloud based systems such as Azure and AWS

· Avaya IP Office, 8x8, Polycom and Shoretel PBX voice systems

· HP ProCurve switches
