We are seeking multiple highly qualified UPK developers for the role of instructional designer, supporting various ERP programs in the DC, VA, and MD areas.

Currently we are staffing on a couple of federal programs and are often contacted about qualified individuals.

The following is an overview for our open positions

Positions: Two to Three Sr. Trainers.

Title: Sr. Oracle Instructional Designer (DoD or DHS Clearance Preferred with Anticipated on site 80-100% in Reston, VA, Washington DC, or Falls Church, VA)

Job Description

Position Title: Instructional Designer

In this role, you will be responsible for developing learning experiences across multiple organizations that guide users through the client's global model. You will create learning experiences that result in sustained participant behavior change. You will become part of a team that strives for world class delivery.

Primary job responsibilities

* Collaborate with curriculum and portfolio managers, learning and development consultants, subject matter experts, measurement and assessment analysts, and others to create sustained capabilities

* Design, develop, and maintain formal and informal learning and development and performance support solutions on behalf of the client, including information-based learning, self-paced eLearning, mobile learning, virtual instructor-led learning, traditional instructor-led learning, social learning, coaching, work-embedded learning, etc.

* Design, develop, and deliver "train the trainer" (T3s) that enable Global Delivery team facilitators to provide traditional face-to-face instructor-led offerings and virtual instructor-led offerings

* Participate in internal projects and pilots as needed to ensure offerings are effective prior to wide-scale general availability

* Partner with curriculum and portfolio managers, subject matter experts, and others to assess and enhance existing client's offerings to more fully implement the model and improve behavioral outcomes aligned with business needs

* Develop detailed course development work plans, which include key activities, timelines, and resource requirements needed to achieve objectives while sticking to client's content development process

* Contribute to building a library of learning objects and instructional resources for the client that can be used across multiple development experiences

* Provide practical ideas and insights to support scaling client's learning and development experiences while maintaining high standards for instructional design services, professional development opportunities, and course delivery

* Act as a mentor to newer team members of the content team, including new to UPK or new to the project

Required Skills

* 5+ (required) to 10+ (desired) years of Oracle Federal Financials functional and 3+ training delivery (or functional demonstration) experience.

* Familiarity and experience with the Business Enterprise Architecture's End to End Process Areas for at a minimum of one and ideally two or more of the following:

o Procure to Pay

o Order to Cash

o Budget to Report

o Acquire to Retire

o Hire to Retire

* 5 to 10 years of experience as an instructional designer (desired ADDIE or ISD models).

* Demonstrated ability to successfully work with facilitators and subject matter experts to gain the necessary information to support documentation of global model procedures and training materials

* Recognized for ability to learn, translate, and utilize experience with learning theory, design principles, and learning technologies to turn learned knowledge into practical consumable scalable solutions.

* Experience using instructional technologies, such as rapid documentation software (UPK is a plus), learning management systems, video conferencing software, collaborative social networking tools, presentation software, authoring tools, Web 2.0 tools, and video editing software.

* Writing, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills demonstrated at a high level of proficiency

* Demonstrated ability to work on your own and as a member of a collaborative team

* Results-Oriented and ability to follow through and deliver on tasks

* Experience with design thinking methodologies preferred

* Work results that demonstrate a proven ability to manage tasks and projects from start to finish

* Demonstrated skill to provide consultation, including needs assessment, design planning, and deliveries that meet and exceed client expectations
