Job Description
We are looking for a hard working, dedicated, reliable groomer for our new Boarding Bed & Breakfast. The ideal candidate LOVES animals, is dedicated to the art of grooming, punctual, can work efficiently and independently, has great communication skills and can follow directions/client instructions to the letter.
Job Requirements:
- Must have at least 1 year of experience!!! PLEASE DO NOT APPLY IF YOU DO NOT HAVE AT LEAST 1+ YEARS EXPERIENCE.
- Completion of a Professional Groomer Training Program
- Must have excellent safety practices
- Must have extensive knowledge of breed specific style cuts
- Must demonstrate and maintain a clean and organized groom shop
- Knowledge of dogs of all sizes, breeds, temperaments
-Able to follow instructions from Management and Clients
- Able to stand, bend, or stoop for extended periods of time
- Able to move or lift heavy equipment and animals
- Willing to educate clients on good at home grooming practices
- Able to work well alone or with others
- Looking for a long term commitment
