The  Business Intelligence Competency Center (BICC) SAS Administration team is looking for an experienced Senior SAS Administrator familiar with a SAS Grid enabled EBI n-tiered architecture installed in a RHEL / IIS / Windows client/server environment.

Candidate would maintain existing RHEL scripts and schedules and would be expected to develop new scripts, as required, to support additional needs and to provide SAS consulting assistance to approximately 6000 end users. SAS Grid architecture and installation experience is required.

Primary focus will be maintaining the existing SAS GRID and Viya configurations and environments in the Red Hat Linux SAS environments. Candidate needs to be familiar with SAS 9.4, LSF, Linux, and administration for the environment and Metadata. Viya experience is a plus.

Support responsibilities include, but are not limited to problem determination, best practices, and coding techniques.
Data sources include a variety of formats including DB2, Oracle, SQL Server, MS Access, MS Excel, as well as ASCII and EBCDIC.

The successful candidate must work effectively across a wide range of end-user expertise and experience which will require patience and strong communication skills.

• 10+ years of application development and implementation experience
• 5+ years of SAS experience

• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
• A BS/BA degree or higher
• 3+ years of experience with SAS Base and SAS macros in a Linux/UNIX environment
• Knowledge and understanding of technology support: environments with relational databases

• 5+ years of experience delivering Business Intelligence (BI), analytics and reporting
• Minimum of 5 years administering and / or engineering the SAS Grid platform
• Minimum of 5 years experience with a proven track record of supporting an enterprise-scale technology platform (BI, analytics, RDMBS, ETL, application server, etc.).

• Ability to work nights, weekends, and/or holidays as needed or scheduled
• Ability to work on call as assigned
