Home Instead Senior Care is looking for caring and compassionate CAREGivers to join our mission of enhancing the lives of aging adults throughout our community. Home Instead provides a variety of non-medical services that allow seniors to remain in their home and meet the challenges of aging with dignity. Both part-time and full-time opportunities are available. Home instead Senior Care works around the clock to provide clients with companionship, personal care, and specialized care. The best part is that you have the opportunity to be involved with an experienced team who welcomes those with medical certifications such as a CNA, and those with no experience but who have a desire to become professionals within the field of home healthcare.

Primary Responsibilities include:

• Companionship

• Light Housekeeping
• Medication Reminders
• Client Transportation
• Errands
• Bathing Dressing Mobility Assistance
• Incontinence Care
• Transfers
• Behavior Management

Essential Job Requirements:

• Care for aging seniors with a servant's heart
• Demonstrate behaviors that align with our core values of safety, excellence in service to clients, and teamwork
• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), and listed on the nursing assistant registry in the state of North Carolina (preferred)
• Experience caring for seniors, and demonstrated proficiency as a personal care assistant (preferred)
• Possess a valid North Carolina driver's license, and current auto insurance
• Excellent communication skills and a heart for serving others
