Baylor Scott & White Memorial Hospital is a 636-bed specialty care teaching hospital and the only Level 1 Trauma Center between Dallas and Austin.
Why Orthopedics/ENT/Plastics?
This is a 35-bed telemetry monitored nursing unit that provides the opportunity to work with a wide variety of patients ranging from adults to Geriatrics. The conditions that are within the scope of service include the following but are not limited to:
- Traumatic Complex Fractures
- Elective Joint Replacements
- Sports Injuries
- Spinal Deformities
- Hip Fractures
- Compression Fractures
- Pelvic Fractures
- Skeletal Malformations and Abnormalities
- Amputations and Prosthesis
- Medical Surgical patients including those requiring Telemetry
- Elective Plastic surgery
- Tracheotomy Care and (Maintenance and support)-a Registered Nurse on this floor will develop top notch skills with Trach care compared to anywhere else in the hospital.

� Associate�s Degree in Nursing (ADN) required
� RN license required
� Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required

Note: If you have less than 6 months of experience, we recommend that you apply to our nursing internship program. Internships are available for new graduates and experienced nurses in a variety of specialties. New classes begin in January, June, and September.
