Full-Time EXPERIENCED Caregivers

Home Instead Senior Care is looking for experienced caring and compassionate Caregivers to become a part of our team and join our mission of enhancing the lives of aging adults in and around Bartlett.  Home Instead Senior Care provides a variety of non-medical services that allow seniors to remain in their home and meet the challenges of aging with dignity, care and compassion.
 
We are looking for premier hourly and live-in Caregivers to work a variety of shifts for this premier agency. Full-time and part-time hours available. Work a little or work a lot! Hoyer lift and gait belt experience is a plus!
Duties include, but are not limited to:

• Companionship and conversation
• Light housekeeping tasks and meal preparation
• Medication and appointment reminders
• Assistance with grooming and bathing
• Assistance with toileting and incontinence issues
• Assistance with transferring and mobility
• Alzheimer's Care

**Home Instead Senior Care is licensed by the state of Illinois, which requires ALL Employees to be fingerprinted through the Illinois State Police and attend 8 hours of annual paid training.  All training provided by Home Instead Senior Care.**

Requirements to be a Caregiver:

• Ability to treat and care for seniors and their property with dignity and respect
• Ability to communicate with clients in a friendly and congenial manner
• Complete a criminal background check, DMV check (if a driver) and drug screen
• Possess a valid driver's license and valid auto insurance (or state ID if not a driver)
• At least one year of experience providing care to a senior professionally or personally
