POSITION SUMMARY

Coordinate and implement on mountain marketing initiatives including signage and This Week on the Mountain (weekly publication). Assist with the day to day maintenance of social media accounts and organization of digital media files, galleries and shoots. Oversee execution of and reporting on resort sponsorship and partner obligations. Contribute to success of the marketing department by assisting with content generation or coordination of other marketing projects and initiatives as needed. Assistance with Net Promoter Score program.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

Work with supervisor to create and manage a 360 degree plan for on-mountain information and promotion of Snowshoe and Snowshoe partners across all on site touch points.

Maintains inventory and manages content of all physical signage across the resort and off mountain highway billboards.

Tracks sponsorship contracts and requirements via Kore Connect software and coordinates implementation of all on-mountain partner obligations including event activation, park features, social media posts, web write ups, email promos, signage and other requirements.

Provides seasonal recaps of sponsor activity to each resort partner and the Digital Marketing Manager.

Assists Digital Media Producer with organization of image and video galleries and files.

Assists Digital Media Producer with large scale production projects as well as unscheduled content gathering needs.

Executes, in coordination with the Digital Marketing Manager, social media campaigns. This includes the day-to-day maintenance of social media sites.

Complete and distribute the weekly resort guide (This Week on the Mountain) by working with departments across the resort. Must ensure correct hours and seamless communication to guests about events and operations at the mountain. Use the guide as a cross-promotional platform.

Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS, KNOWLEDGE, SKILL AND ABILITY REQUIREMENTS

·Strong written and oral communication skills.
Experience with Adobe Creative Suite a plus

Must be highly organized

Must enjoy working as part of a team and with partners from outside the resort

Understanding of various social media platforms and strategies

Experience in sales or guest facing position a plus

Experience with photo/video/editing equipment a plus

 

DIRECT EXPERIENCE

Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Sales, Ecommerce, or related field.
Experience: 1 year of marketing or sales experience preferred.

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS

Any employee or volunteer who operates a company vehicle including cars, trucks, snowcats, snowmobiles, or heavy equipment is required to comply with the Driver’s Standards Policy. This policy also applies to employees or volunteers driving their personal vehicles for company business more than four times per month, averaging 30+ miles per trip. All drivers should receive a full copy of the Alterra Driver’s Standards Policy; if you have not – please contact your Risk/Safety or HR/EE Department.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORKING CONDITIONS

This position may be required to work evenings, weekends and holidays.

Office Environment:

Able to lift, carry, or otherwise move and position a minimum of 20 pounds on an occasional basis.

Manual dexterity to operate a computer and other common office equipment on a constant basis.

Auditory and visual acuity to operate computers, phones, mobile devices and basic office equipment on a constant basis.

Ability to work for extended periods of time sitting, bending, reaching, and speaking on a constant basis.

Ability to work for extended periods of time standing, walking, kneeling, pushing and pulling on an occasional basis.

Talking and hearing occur continuously in the process of communicating with guests, supervisors and other employees.
