Class A Driver - Full-time / Part-time

Job summary

• $1300 - $2000 total average weekly pay
• 2800 - 3200 average miles per week
• OTR
• Linehaul
• Company driver (solo)
• Flatbed

Home time

• 12 days on, 2 days off
• 11 - 13 required days out
• Home at least 2 weekends per month

Freight handling

• 100% live load / unload
• 100% no touch freight

• Pets are not allowed
• Riders are allowed
  Riders allowed with safety department approval

Core responsibilities include, but are not limited to

• Inspection of vehicle, equipment, and cargo to ensure everything is safe, legal, and secure.
• Maintaining a clean, sanitary, and safe work area.
• Submitting customer paperwork and deposits including invoices, load orders, and handheld reports.
• Daily customer interactions and maintaining good customer relations.
• Maintaining a driver's log in accordance with DOT regulations.

Carrier and truck information

• Carrier size 20 - 49 trucks
• Mostly trucks with automatic transmissions
• Governed trucks at 68 mph on cruise control (may vary when off cruise control)
• Can take truck home if requirements are met
  Truck needs to be parked in safe place. Company pays for parking.

Hiring requirements

• Class A license
• At least 23 years old
• Tractor trailer experience
  • at least 12 months in the last 5 years
• Flatbed experience
  • at least 12 months in the last 5 years
• Experience must be with a 48 ft trailer minimum
• Must be able to pass urine test
• Must be eligible to work in the US
• Must have basic proficiency in the English language
• Must have a valid DOT medical card
• Good driving record
• Stable work history
