Description
* Cleaning wood and metal bars prior to assembly, including trimming tape and de-burring metal cuts
* Aligning bar notches and taping into place with a small plastic hammer
* Stacking grids on a transfer cart and pushing cart into isle for pick up
* Rotate through multiple assembly lines depending on need
* Verify the parts required for production prior to assembly
* Inform supervisors of any part or equipment defects to ensure prompt response to the problem
* Familiarize yourself with the tools, instrumentation and calibration equipment
* Communicate with other stations on the assembly line to ensure maximum speed and accuracy
* Maintain and service all equipment when necessary
* Conserve resources and supplies to facilitate minimum waste.

* Ability to add, multiply, divide and subtract
* Ability to read and comprehend basic verbal and written instructions
* Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds
* Ability to work at a steady while standing for a majority of the day (8-10 hours)
* MUST BE WILLING TO WORK OT & SATURDAYS AS NEEDED
* Ability to assemble components accurately, thoroughly and quickly to approved specifications.
* Ability to read a tape measure accurately
* Ability to add, multiply, divide and subtract
