CareGiver- earn up to 12.50 hourly

Home Instead Senior Care is looking for caring and compassionate CAREGivers to become a part of our team and join our mission of enhancing the lives of aging adults throughout our community, working one on one with clients.  Home Instead Senior Care provides a variety of non-medical services that allow seniors to remain in their home and meet the challenges of aging with dignity, care and compassion.

Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Companionship and conversation
• Light housekeeping tasks and meal preparation
• Medication and appointment reminders
• Assistance with personal care
• Ability to treat and care for seniors and their property with dignity and respect
• Ability to communicate with clients in a friendly and congenial manner
• Complete a criminal background check, motor vehicle record check and drug screen
• Possess a valid driver's license and valid auto insurance (required if driving clients) and have your own transportation

Earn 12.00 hourly for working 38 to 40 hours per week and one weekend shift each week.

 We cover parts of SW Oakland county including but not limited to Milford, Novi, Farmington and Farmington Hills, Wixom and Commerce. We cover smaller parts of Highland, Northville, Southfield and White Lake Twp.

The requirements to be a Home Instead Senior Care employee are as follows:
Must be 21 years of age or older (bonding purposes)
Valid driver license and a decent driving record (No recent suspension of license, DUI, reckless or careless driving charges)
Current auto insurance and reliable transportation (transporting our clients is one of the services we offer). Background check and drug testing will occur.
Ability to work a Saturday or a Sunday each week.
