RSA creates a wide range of industry-leading products that allow customers to take control of risk. Whether those risks stem from external cyber threats, identity and access management challenges, online fraud, compliance pressure or any number of other business and technology issues.  RSA’s goal is to deliver value to customers as rapidly as possible. To support this we are increasing the efficiency and speed of software engineering and deployment to the Cloud. We are building out a Cloud Platform team to support transformation of our Development and Operations teams. This is an exciting opportunity for an engineer who has a passion for building and maintaining Cloud platform to support Cloud users.  You will have an opportunity to support RSA’s ongoing large scale cloud initiatives. This will involve you working closely with skilled Development and Operations teams, using your experience to ensure that all needs are met as the more and more products are moving to the public cloud.

You will be expected to understand the needs of software development, operations, and security teams. You will be learning the products, providing guidance to all teams, and ensuring DevOps Methodologies are followed while building out the Cloud platform.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Deploy and support framework and tools for Multi-Cloud Platform
• Implement and maintain Self-Service catalog
• Provide support for investigation and troubleshooting cloud platform related issues
• Manage account administration on complex Multi-Cloud platform
• Support and enhance tools used for Cloud Platform management (Monitoring tools, Cost management tools, Inventory management, etc…)
• Collaborate with product development, architecture, and IT teams on evaluation and implementation of new services based on the requirements
• Promote Cloud usage best practices across multiple organizations
• Demonstrate ability to work on several concurrent projects involving multiple stakeholders executing in a matrix environment
• Able to work in both Linux- and Windows- based environments and associated code frameworks
• Participate in an on-call rotations to provide coverage during off business hours
• Documentation of systems and processes

EXPERIENCE

• At least 5 years working experience with supporting enterprise production environments
• At least 3 years working experience with cloud-based infrastructure (AWS/Azure/Google)
• Understanding of all aspects of a SaaS stack and associated technologies (Network, OS, Web, App, DB, Storage)
• Proven experience with configuration and orchestration tools (e.g. Ansible, Chef, Puppet)
• Solid understanding of security architecture and standards
• Experience with AWS IAM management at the enterprise level
• Experience with distributed systems operations (e.g. Docker, Kubernetes)
• Prior experience with highly available and fault tolerant production architectures in the cloud
• Solid understanding of the Operations processes (e.g. Incident management, Change Management, etc…)

PLUSES

• Experience with SaaS services that have migrated to cloud environments
• Proven experience with Infrastructure as a code tools (CloudFormation, Terraform)
• Deep understanding of AWS tool suites and capabilities
• Worked with products that have compliance requirements
• 5+ years of experience working in software engineering, with at least 2 years working in development operation type roles
• Public Cloud Providers certifications
