field service manager

A construction company is looking for an positive and energetic candidate to become their Field Service Manager. They will initiate and monitor the process of all service orders that come in. The orders may consist of replacing siding on a multifamily building, replacing gutters, installing new flooring, etc. They will then be responsible for driving from site to site and overseeing the work that the field technicians are doing to complete these projects. Anywhere from 10-15 technicians will be reporting to them. This person will also be responsible for client interaction. They MUST be on time to the office every day and will be taking the company vehicle out for the day after that. This person needs to be available to help in the event of an emergency situation. They must have great communication and the ability to lead a team. A customer service background is beneficial. A general knowledge of carpentry/construction is necessary, preferably experience in siding, roofing, or concrete. The company is working to go paperless so all work will be done electronically, this person must be somewhat tech savvy. They do not have to be familiar with any project management software.
