Direct hire Pharmacy Technician.
Pay: $18/hour or $22/hour (based on experience)
Location- 929 Broadway Denver,Co
Responsibilities:
- Handle third party rejections (TPR) on prescriptions
- Work with patient to determine co-pay assistance to apply (i.e. coupon to medication, financial assistance, therapeutic alternative - lower price barrier)
- Place outbound calls to insurance companies to build out understanding of prescriptions
- Will be working with all insurances, the majority will be private insurances
- Responsible for intake of prescriptions; will be handling data entry of prescriptions (review it by fax, electronically, or verbally scanned in by paper)
Qualifications:
- 6 months to 3+ years of experience in a high volume retail pharmacy or specialty pharmacy as a pharmacy technician
- Open to candidates without PTCB Certification, company willing to pay for test
- NICE TO HAVE: PTCB Certification
- Seeking someone who enjoys helping others and wants to make a difference.
