Position: Customer / Member Service Representative

Pay rate: $12/hour (12.50/hour for Spanish-speaking)

Estimated Start Date: 02/10

Duration: 6 month contract (potential for extension/full time employment)

Hours of Operations: Monday-Friday 8:00AM-8:00PM

Project is open during all state and federal holidays

Job Description:

  • Guide and support beneficiaries, their families, and authorized representatives in the managed care program through education, PHP selection, AMH/PCP selection, and PHP disenrollment
  • Responsible for conducting enrollment and education activities for Louisiana Medicaid and Health Choice managed care beneficiaries

Job Responsibilities:

  • Responds to customer phone inquiries in a prompt, courteous and concise manner
  • Provides callers with an unbiased information to assist customers with application and eligibility requirements
  • Accesses, reads, and interprets customers and provider data elements within customer's application
  • Performs accurately all data entry functions to reflect customer activity/transactions
  • Answers customer questions and assists in problem resolution
  • Assists customers in the enrollment process
  • Documents all customer encounters in clear and concise logs

Qualifications:

  • 1+ year of call center experience
  • Data entry / computer skills - ability to navigate multiple systems
  • High school diploma/GED
