Walt Disney World Co. currently has full-time openings for Alarm Systems Electrician Technician.





Responsibilities :
Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on fire protection/security systems, and associated proprietary electronic monitoring systems.


Basic Qualifications :

• Must possess strong electronic skills
• Must be able to demonstrate troubleshooting skills for this type of equipment, and demonstrate skills in soldering/desoldering, smoke detector sensitivity measuring equipment, and schematic reading
• Familiarity with NFPA Fire Protection Codes and Standards will be required
• Must have strong mechanical aptitude
• Must be able to work varied shifts and days off
• Must have previous experience with fire protection equipment/systems (Siemens/Cerberus/Pyrotronics, or Edwards System Technology EST-1, EST-2, EST-3, and EST-QS)
• Experience in troubleshooting digital and analog circuits to the component level is required
• Must be able to work from ladders, elevated platforms, and confined space areas
• Must have or be able to obtain within 60 days, a Florida State Alarm Systems Agent/Burglar Alarm System Agent (FASA/BASA) registration
• Must have or be able to obtain Level-1 NICET Certification within 60 days

Required Education :
An Associate’s degree in Electronics or equivalent is required.
