Description

NPORT is seeking professional, reliable and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse for our Skilled Nursing Facilities that are dedicated to the provision of high quality patient care that adheres to federal and state regulations, and Joint Commission standards. This position is available for shifts 3pm-11pm and 11pm-7am!!!

LPN professionals must be first and foremost qualified and compassionate. The ideal candidate will be experienced in providing diverse basic care to those who need it while remaining patient and calm. It is a demanding job but also very rewarding.

 

Responsibilities:

•Administer general nursing care to patients in assigned area under direct supervision of RN

•Administer medications and treatments as prescribed

•Insures all aspect of care is provided

•Maintain accurate documentation in records

•Check control drugs, review lab reports, review physician orders

•Current knowledge of usual dosages, side effects, and reactions to medications

•Adhere to professional standards, follows policies and procedures and abide by federal, and state requirements, HIPPA guidelines, and Joint Commission standards

•Performs related duties as required/ Administrative duties as required

 

Qualifications:

•LPN NY Registration License

•CPR Certification

•1 year experience Long Term Care/Skilled Nursing Facility

•Ability to undertake a variety of diverse care tasks and work in a multidisciplinary team

•Good knowledge of MS Office and data entry
