About this job
- Must have 5-10 years of mechanical engineering/design experience
- Design and engineering of mechanical building systems and should be familiar with evaluating facilities and process the ability to identify building operations issues as well as potential Energy Conservation Efforts
- Candidate will have the opportunity to work on various projects with HVAC systems and building operations including MEP design, commissioning, retro-commissioning, energy audits and building operations troubleshooting
- Experience with the design and engineering of heating, ventilating and air conditioning systems for the commercial and governmental markets including general office buildings, educational, laboratory spaces and healthcare markets.
- Experience with performing cooling and heating load calculations using Trane Trace 700 including building energy saving simulations.
- Knowledge and experience evaluating mechanical systems such as HVAC, motors, distribution systems, central plants and control systems. Knowledge of HVAC equipment such as chillers, air handlers and chilled/heating water distribution networks
