Warehouse Associate- Layout

We are looking for an experienced warehouse associate who will report directly to the Warehouse Supervisor. We are conveniently located in Norcross, GA. Our company distributes fasteners, electronic hardware and components internationally. We have been in business since 1932 and plan to keep growing. Job Responsibilities:

• Fill orders
• Receive parts on the computers
• Stock put up
• Perform cycle counts and data entry
• Make labels to put on packages and properly label all parts to go out
• Solve problems for missing parts
• Complete billing
• Operate the UPS manifest system
• Handle the barcode process
• Break down large box lots into smaller box lots
• Use warehouse tools and machinery
• Resolve safety issues with manager
• Train new employees as directed by Warehouse Manager

Job Requirements:

• Must be able to carry out all duties in accordance with the QC Book and Procedures.
• Must have a proven work experience as a warehouse associate.
• Must be familiar with modern warehouse practices and methods.
• Must demonstrate strong organizational skills including detail orientation and accuracy.
• Must be able to do basic math.
• Must be able to work on a computer.
• Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Must be able to lift up to 50lbs without assistance.
• Must adhere to all safety rules.
• Must have a current forklift certification and be able to provide a copy for proof.
• Must be able to work well under pressure and handle difficult people and situations.

Hours: Monday – Friday 8:00am – 4:30pm

Pay: $16 - $16.50 per hour
