About this job
One of SCE's largest sub contractor is seeking AutoCAD Drafters to join their team. The Drafters will support the engineering team with electrical utility distribution infrastructure upgrades.
The Drafter will support power pole distribution projects across Southern CA. One will working with engineers and project managers to design pole relocation, road widening, and overhead/underground power distribution systems. Drafters will create site and base maps, X-ref's , and update engineering/construction drawings.
Qualified candidates will possess 1+ years of recent AutoCAD Drafting experience outside of school or training program. Civi, telecomunication, construction, pipeline, roadway or Electrical drafting experience preferred, but will consider different industry experience. Experience with AutoCAD 2014 or 2017 is required. Must be willing to work overtime (5-10/hrs per week).
