Account Services Representatives are responsible for processing transactions (New Account Opening, Transfers & Cash/Asset movements) for RIA clients and will ensure transactions are processed with a high degree of accuracy in a timely manner

REQUIRED:

  • High School Diploma/GED Required (Bachelor Degree preferred)
  • 3+ years customer service experience (preferred in finance or call center settings)
  • Strong communication (written and verbal)

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manage back office needs and effectively processes advisor transactions using internal work flow systems using departmental standard procedures with a high degree of accuracy
  • Qualifies validated paperwork, activates and maintains advisers accounts
  • Research, resolve and follow-up on applicable transfers, cash movements, document restrictions on accounts and release restrictions when issues are resolved
  • Field incoming Customer Service calls from the firm's back office or calls from internal associates requesting assistance
  • Review, prepare, and process client transfer requests efficiently and accurately
  • Contact contra firms as needed to status submitted transfers or to make general inquiries as to procedures or contact/delivery information.
  • Review and process cash management, transfer request and banking needs the clients may have requests for Advisers and their Clients.
  • Deliver exceptional service and build rapport with our Advisers and their staff.
  • Analyze all paperwork received, document and notify clients of pending issues, work closely with clients for resolution, and accurately process accounts, as they are resolved
  • Performing in depth research on issues as well as identify best courses of action to best service the client and protect the firm from liability.
  • Review and analyze any and all parts of the transfer process to ensure completeness and compliance with industry and company rules
  • Deliver exceptional service and build rapport with our Advisers and their staff.
  • Manage work load to ensure all processing times are met.
  • Organizes time and resources efficiently while processing quality work with a high degree of accuracy
  • Ability to articulately communicate with individuals at all levels within our Adviser's firms
  • Manage work load to ensure all processing times are met
  • Effectively escalates items that fall outside standard work to the Resource desk
  • Partner internally with Senior Relationship Managers to ensure the appropriate research and resolution of issues in a timely manner.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert to 2 or more back office specialty areas and perform basic functions in all areas
