Job Description

Provide Information Security-specific expertise and coordination with Enterprise Projects, Development, Network Engineering, Test and Support teams to ensure compliance with TrueBlue’s Information Security Standards, industry best practices, and various regulatory controls. Requires competency in customer focus, change & innovation, strategic thinking, analytical thinking, relationship building & influencing, collaboration, partnership and working cross functionally with other IT teams.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Works with cross functional groups and staff in the creation and testing of procedures, standards or regulatory controls to ensure the security and privacy of information on TrueBlue’s network

Participate in information security review of new technologies, designs, and remediation planning efforts

Serves as liaison between information security and IT operations, engineering, upper management & dept representatives to maximize the adoption of and support for information security plans, procedures, and regulatory controls

Maintain visibility inside & outside of information security, interfacing with groups such as billing ops, application support, engineering ops, finance, legal, privacy, risk management, etc.

Support info security policy lifecycle throughout, including intake, creation, review, approval, implementation, publishing, communication & maintenance

Serve as the primary security operations administrator to review, analyze and administrate all operations from cloud, tools, and web application firewalls (WAF)

Qualifications:

Be subject matter expert in at least two security disciplines (Security Operations, Vulnerability Management, Firewall Management, Identity Access Management (IAM), End Point Protection)

5+ years of relevant, broad engineering experience required

Good verbal and communication skills with diverse cross functional groups

Knowledge of information security policies and regulatory controls (per team function)

Technical expertise in at least two major technical areas: large scale Windows and Unix systems engineering, mobile device security that supports BYOD, building monitoring or management tools for large-scale environments


Preferred Qualifications:

Knowledge of current trends and developments in the area of information security

Good understanding and/or experience applying CoB IT, ITIL, 27001 or NIST frameworks

Understand or some experience in scripting or development languages and automation

Experience developing an endpoint security strategy for a fortune 500 company

Experience hardening operating systems (Windows / Linux/MacOS)

Education:

Associates or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cyber Security, Information Technology, or relevant work experience that applies

Knowledge or practical experience in development languages or scripting
