The RN - Nurse Supervisor is responsible for supervising nursing personnel to deliver nursing care and within scope of practice coordinates care delivery, which will ensure that patient's needs are met in accordance with professional standards of practice through physician orders, center policies and procedures, and federal, state and local guidelines. This RN position is a staff position that has direct care responsibilities as well as supervisor responsibility for nursing assistants. Educational Requirements

Currently holds a RN license in this state.

Position Requirements

One year prior nursing experience preferred.

Job Specific Details:

RN House Supervisor.Full-time, 2nd shift. Monday - Friday. Responsible for overseeing the nursing units to ensure that patient and facility needs are being met. Assumes responsibility and accountability of care, manages the environment to maintain resident safety and supervises the overall care performed by Registered Nurses, Licensed Practical Nurses and Certified Nurse Aides. Valid VA State license required for all nursing positions.
