Route 66 Veterinary Emergency and Critical Care Center is looking for a Day Time Emergency Clinician and Overnight Emergency Clinician that can help create positive change in people’s lives through compassionate care for their pets. While working as part of our dynamic team you will provide quality veterinary care to our patients.

Our practice is expanding as the city of Albuquerque has embraced our hospital and has chosen it as the place for veterinary emergencies. The Route 66 Veterinary Emergency and Critical Care Center is in the trendy Nob Hill neighborhood close to both the University of New Mexico and Sandia National Laboratory. Our state-of-the-art, AAHA accredited, facility features digital radiology, endoscopy, ligasure, advanced patient monitoring, telemetry, ultrasound, fully equipped laboratory and entirely electronic medical records. We recently added on a dedicated ICU, endoscopy suite and new doctor’s office. Our technical staff is composed of mainly registered veterinary technicians and assistants with years of emergency experience. Keeping a staffed hospital where our clients are cared for and our veterinarians are supported is extremely important to us. Our vets enjoy a three tech to one doctor ratio. 

We are looking for and enthusiastic, personable Veterinarian! Someone who can handle the medical aspects of the job while delivering compassion and care to our patients and clients. Emergency Veterinary medical experience is preferred. Coaching and educating are important to us as we strive to create a collaborative environment where you can discuss and research cases among your colleagues.
