To-Go/Hostess

Purpose

To greet guest with a warm and welcoming environment, to assist with any menu questions and to-go orders.  

Essential Job Functions

Essential duties may include but are not limited to the following:

1. Extend a warm and friendly greeting to all guest.
2. Explain menu items and answering product question as raised by guest.
3. Take food and drink orders from guest accurately and with a positive attitude
4. Maintain a positive and professional approach with co-workers and customers
5. Relaying the correct order to kitchen personal
6. Engage with guest in a friendly manner
7. Packaging food and drinks for the guest in a timely manner
8. Completing all side work which includes variety of cleaning, busting tables, rolling silverware and etc.
9. Supporting other restaurant staff members by assisting with another task, as needed.
10. Must follow the guidelines of grooming standards
11. Communicate openly, timely and honestly with subordinates, superiors and all others about plans, progress and problems.
12. To always be approachable, coachable and have a good positive attitude

Non-Essential Job Functions

1. Must be at least 18 years of age
2. Must be able to lift 50 lbs without assistance
3. Maintain physical condition appropriate to the performance of assigned duties and responsibilities which may include the following:

• Walking, standing or sitting for extended periods of time.

1. Maintain effective audio-visual discrimination and perception needed for:

• Making observations
• Communicating with others
• Reading and writing
