Warehouse Lead

This position is responsible for filling orders and other general duties involving physical handling of product, materials, supplies and equipment. This role is responsible for coaching team members as well as maintaining accountability amongst each employee. Job Description:

* Maintains orderly and clean work area in compliance with company, safety and sanitation guidelines.

* Operates industrial power equipment to restock and replenish product in the Warehouse as needed.

* Ensures compliance with regulatory, safety and company policies and procedures.

* Works in conjunction with the Warehouse Supervisor to execute the goals of the Warehouse action plans daily.

Essential Job Functions:

* Response for filling orders and other general duties involving physical handling of product, materials, supplies and equipment. Physical/Environmental Functions:

* Speaking: Constantly (investigates, negotiates, recommends, reports, etc.)

* Acute Vision: Constantly (observing both near and far, reading documents)

* Mobility: Frequent travel throughout Heartland Facility (Walking in warehouse)

* Bending/Squatting: Constantly (picking up product, moving product)

* Lifting: Frequent- Lift 50 lbs. or less (full cases of product)

* Able to be certified on manual and powered pallet jacks or forklifts

* Warehouse Managers/Supervisors - Typing: Frequently using electronic devices for day-to-day business (typing, creating reports, instant messaging, texting) Job Qualifications:

* High School Diploma or GED and a minimum of 1-year work experience required.

* Prior work experience in warehouse (inventory), production or equipment service preferred.

* Prior Forklift and Pallet Jack experience required.

* Demonstrated attention to detail.

* Prior experience with supervisory skills or managing people.

* Strong interpersonal and communication (verbal and written) skills.

* Strong computer background skills-SAP, Excel and Word.
