EM Physician - Full-time

Envision Physician Services, along with Ocala Regional Medical Center, is seeking Emergency Medicine Physicians to join our team located in Ocala, FL.

ED Features:

• 31-bed ED
• 44,000 annual patient visits
• Level II Trauma Center
• 2 Trauma Bays
• 44 hrs phys cvg + 32 hrs of APP cvg daily
• Meditech EMR
• Hospital is undergoing a $56 million dollar renovation and expansion including a new ED entrance
• J1 Visa and H1B Visa Eligible
• BC/BE in Emergency Medicine
• Ocala Health is the primary clinical site for graduate medical education in Ocala, FL, sponsored in collaboration with the University of Central Florida College of Medicine and Hospital Corporation of America (HCA).
• Ocala Regional Medical Center provides an academically and clinically rigorous training program in Emergency Medicine. With dedicated faculty supported by the significant resources of the UCF/HCA GME consortium and HCA Healthcare and the provide the trainees with the basic and clinical knowledge, procedural skills, clinical judgment, professionalism, and the interpersonal skills necessary for a successful career and to develop as a leader in Emergency Medicine.
• GME programs include: Family Medicine, General Surgery and Internal Medicine.

Ocala Health System, a 2-facility health system with 430 beds; located at Ocala Regional Medical Center and West Marion Community Hospital. The Ocala Health system also include 3-free standing Emergency Departments; located in Wildwood, Summerfield and Ocala. Facilities have been consistently growing over the course of the last 5 years, having invested $210 M in capital improvements through 2018. Facility has another $60 M in construction underway to include expansion of ER, OR, and IP Bed Capacity at both facilities. Ocala Health is a high functioning Comprehensive Stroke and Level II Trauma Center, and is the only trauma center or Comprehensive Stroke Center in Marion, Hernando, Sumter and Citrus counties. The facility also leads a growing GME program in partnership with UCF.
