About this job
A hospitality management group is looking for an experienced Line Cook in the Palos Heights area.
This is a full time position, temp to perm position for the right candidates! This is an afternoon shift and will cover lunch hours for a local school. Pay will be based on experience, but ranges $13.50-$14.50/hour.
What will you do:
-Set up and stock stations with all necessary supplies
-Prepare food for service such as chopping vegetables, cutting meat, or preparing sauces
-Prepare and cook menu items in cooperation with the rest of the kitchen staff
-Maintain the sanitation of all work stations
-Maintain kitchen inventory
-Ensure that all food and meals are prepared and served for customer satisfaction
-Comply with all safety standards including sanitation regulations

What you must have:
-2+ years of experience as a Line Cook
-Strong understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment and procedures
-Culinary school diploma is a plus!
